Flood, Landslide, Severe Storm, Straight-line Winds, Tornado - Kentucky
On August 14, 2015, WSP USA Inspection Services was activated for DR-4239 KY. Four counties were declared for severe storms, tornadoes, straight-line winds, flooding, landslides and mudslides. Inspectors were alerted to the potential for double damages from DR-4217 KY in two of these counties, Carter and Johnson. As with DR-4217, WSP USA Inspection Services briefed inspectors on the anticipated communication issues in areas of Eastern Kentucky where there is limited cellular telephone coverage. In an effort to recruit and train new inspectors, WSP USA Inspection Services conducted a duty readiness training session in Erlanger, Kentucky. DR-4239 KY was completed on November 13, 2016. During the 91-day deployment, inspectors completed 1,589 inspections in eight counties.
